How Did Purple Day Start
Purple Day India started in March 2011 when the Anita Kaufman Foundation appointed Dr. Janak K Nathan as the Chief Coordinator for Purple Day India. Purple Day was founded in 2008, by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan of Nova Scotia, Canada, with the help of the Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia
